What is the Sun Bird cocktail recipe?
The Sun Bird is a house creation for our July Cocktail Club Box!
The cocktail blends Plantation Pineapple Stiggins Fancy Rum, our house Aperol Sundown Infusion*, lime and pineapple juice.
Plantation Pineapple Stiggins Fancy Rum is a stunning expression of rum with a stunning bouquet of pineapple. We have paired it with complementary flavours of pineapple and our own Aperol Infusion*
How to make the Sun Bird cocktail recipe
50ml Plantation Pineapple Stiggins Fancy Rum
20ml Aperol Sundown Infusion* (see below)
10ml Lime Juice
50ml Pineapple Juice
Get a cocktail shaker and add 10ml lime juice* (1 wedge if squeezing), 50ml pineapple juice, 20ml Aperol Sundown infusion and 50ml Plantation Pineapple Rum. Shake with half a shaker of ice for 10-15 seconds. Double strain over a tumbler glass filled with ice.
Garnish with either pineapple leaves or a slice of lime.

*Aperol Sundown Infusion – we infuse grapefruit peel, tarragon, sugar and a pinch of sea salt with Aperol to make an aromatic sweet and bitter balanced liqueur (contact us for the recipe)
