What is the Sailor’s Negroni cocktail recipe?

The classic Negroni recipe includes a trio of equally measured ingredients: gin, vermouth, and Campari.

This twist, photographed by Instagram sensation Sideshow Pete switches the gin out for an equal mix of Mezcal, an agave-based spirit similar to tequila and coffee liqueur.

It has a smoky, rich flavour, with sweetness added to the vermouth.

How to make the Sailor’s Negroni cocktail recipe

Ingredients

25ml Campari
25ml Vermouth
12.5ml Coffee Liqueur
12.5ml Mezcal

Method

Add all ingredients tumbler glass with  cubed ice and stir for 5-10 seconds.

Garnish

Garnish with a lemon slice.
