What is the Ramos Gin Fizz cocktail recipe?

The Ramos Gin Fizz has long been one of the world’s favourite cocktails, since 1888 no less. Pioneered by a New Orleans bar, this cocktail used to be shaken for 110-15 minutes…today a minute or so is suffient. Don’t be put off by the recipe combining so many incongruous ingredients…this is an absolute banger of a cocktail.
