Welcome to June’s cocktail club unboxing! If we do say so ourselves, we loved putting this box together and we had some epic partners showcased in the box, such as Hawksbill Spiced Rum, Whitebox Cocktails and Sake Sling (who recently were crowned the world’s best canned cocktail!)

June’s DIY Cocktails

Watermelon Daiquiri

Hawksbill Spiced Rum is a delicious example of spiced rum and also has a very worthy cause its supports. The brand donates 10% of profits to support conservation projects for the critically endangered Hawksbill Sea Turtle. We paired the spiced rum with a watermelon syrup and fresh lime to make a deliciously fresh and fruity daiquiri. To see the full recipe click here.

Summer Breeze 

Summer cocktail drinking is about fresh flavours in long, hiball cocktails. The Summer Breeze ticks all the boxes. We teamed up with the epic team at Slingsby Gin to showcase their Gooseberry flavour gin. The Harrogate distillery is well known for stunning, premium gin portfolio that comes in a range of flavours, perfect for cocktail making.

We paired Slingsby Gooseberry Gin with Elderflower Syrup, Lemon Juice and then lengthened it with Fever Tree Raspberry & Orange Blossom Soda. The result is a stunningly refreshing sundowner cocktail.

Bottled Cocktails

Lemon & mandarin Sours

Our first limited-edition bottled cocktail is a version of the classic sour family of cocktails. We paired Limoncello, Mandarin Naploean (a mandarin brandy) Mandarin Syrup, citrus and a vega foamer to give the cocktail a delicious foamy head after shaking.

Pear & Artichoke Lowball

This is a unique and slightly leftfield option for this month’s limited edition 500ml bottle. We paired the little used Italian bitter aperitif Cynar (whose predominant botanical is artichoke) with pears and citrus. The outcome was a very unique herbaceous and bitter cocktail.

Squeezys Margarita

A stunning canned margarita from the chaps at Whitebox Cocktails. We are big fans of these little canned cocktails. They are made with premium ingredients, at bar strength and taste nothing short of delicious.

Snacks Of The Month

Coco Chocolatier

Coco make unfeasibly delicious chocolate hailing from Edinburgh. The salted caramel is made with Columbian cocoa and flakes of sea salt from the Isle Of Skye.

Olly’s Pretzels

Our friends at Olly’s are the kings and queens of pretzels and you will find no better pretzels out there. Thin and crispy and packing under 120 calories…these are moreish and low calorie – what could be better?
