How to make the Basic Beach

Ingredients

30ml Golden Rum

25ml Midori

25ml Creme De Banane

25ml Fresh Lime Juice

50ml Pineapple Juice

Method

Add all ingredients to a shaker, fill with ice and shake for 15 seconds. Strain the mix into a highball glass or if you have one a hurricane cocktail glass.

Pro Tip

When pineapple juice is shaken, it creates a dense foam. Be sure to strain all of that into your drink to give the cocktail a great contrast.

What Rum Shall I Use In The Basic Beach Recipe?

Trailer Happiness uses a light Puerto Rican rum in their recipe (such as Don Q) but really any golden rum will do.
