The August Cocktail Club Unboxing

The Cocktail Society’s August cocktail club box was definitely one of our best boxes yet. Featuring a variety of delicious drinks and snacks, including Crusty Juggler Black Spiced Rum and High Water Hard Seltzer.

We wanted to make sure our DIY cocktail recipes are easy to make without compromising on that bar-quality flavour. We’ve achieved exactly that with our Jugglers Twist and Melonade recipes and we know that you will love them! The high-quality ingredients and easy-to-follow recipes made our August box a perfect choice for both experienced and novice cocktail makers.

August’s DIY Cocktails

Jugglers Twist

 This is the perfect feel-good cocktail. Crusty Juggler’s perfectly smoky Black Spiced Rum works beautifully with the ginger ale and bitters to give well rounded notes of orange, vanilla, and spices. Crusty Juggler barrel-aged black spiced rum is rich and complex with notes of treacle, sweet orange and freshly baked cinnamon rolls.

Melonade

 A delightfully fruity fizzed cocktail which will go well with any barbecue. Using Warners Dry Gin, this cocktail is juicy and sweet. You will get notes of cantaloupe, orange, red grape and peach within the Melonade as well as passionfruit from the syrup.

El Tropicana

Our very own El Tropicana made an appearance in the hope that it’d manifest the warmer weather (which it did for a week or so!). Warming Tequila Bianco paired with the refreshing kiwi and lychee flavours, it’s the perfect combination for your go-to summer cocktail.

Goji Martini

This twist on the classic Pornstar Martini has the perfect amount of subtle sweetness with the goji berry juice which is nicely followed by a touch of vanilla syrup. The is the must-have cocktail to be served at your barbecues for the last few weeks of summer.

High Water Hard Seltzer

A delicious premium alcoholic sparkling flavoured water which only has 93 – 99 calories of delciousness per can. Made with only the finest British vodka, spring water, no preservatives or artificial sweeteners, gluten free and vegan. What more could you want ?!
