September 2023 Cocktail Club Unboxing

The Cocktail Society’s September 2023 cocktail club box was definitely one of our best yet. Featuring a variety of delicious drinks and snacks, including Masons of Yorkshire, Black Cow, and Boundless.

We wanted to make sure our DIY cocktail recipes are easy to make without compromising on that bar-quality flavour. We’ve achieved exactly that with our Peach Blossom Breeze and Strawberry Tea Collins recipes and we know that you will love them! The high-quality ingredients and easy-to-follow recipes made our September box a perfect choice for both experienced and novice cocktail makers.

September DIY Cocktails

Peach Blossom Breeze

Featuring the Masons of Yorkshire Tea Edition Gin, our Peach Blossom Breeze DIY cocktail recipe is fresh and fruity with a citrus zing. Masons Tea Edition combines inherently dry Yorkshire Tea with smooth juniper flavours, sharp citrus and warming spice for a refreshingly long, dry finish. When our team were curating this recipe, we wanted to showcase how tea gins can be enhanced using fruity flavours and we definitely feel like we accomplished that.

Strawberry Tea Collins

Our second DIY cocktail recipe featured the incredible Black Cow & English Strawberries vodka. This cocktails is incredibly easy to drink and has is super fresh thanks to our homemade strawberry tea infusion. We wanted to capture the transition from August to September in a glass and our Strawberry Tea Collins is just that. Black Cow uses locally sourced, leftover or misshapen English strawberries that would otherwise go to waste, then press and infused them in Black Cow to create a fresh, light vodka with the unmistakable taste of freshly-picked strawberries.

Limited Edition Bottled Cocktails

Feeling Peachy

We have been a fan of Black Cow for a while now so we thought, why not include them in one of our limited edition bottled cocktails too! To create the Feeling Peachy, we took Black Cows Original Vodka and combined it with honey syrup and peach liqueur layered with comforting flavours of tarragon, to create a refreshing yet botanical cocktail which has the perfect amount of subtle sweetness.

Don’t Be Chai

Chai is a firm favourite amongst most people so we decided to bring the hype into the cocktail world. The Don’t Be Chai is short, strong and alcohol forward like a Rum Old Fashioned but has beautiful earthy flavours which would be perfect when served with a twist of orange. We infused a lightly spiced rum with cumin and cardamom here at HQ and mixed it with a demerara syrup to form a boozy Chai.

Whitebox Cocktails Whisky Highball

Whitebox Cocktails are a familiar face within our Cocktail Club and when we heard about their Whisky Highball RTD, we couldn’t not include it! This classic whisky cocktail is a dry, refreshing and malty mix whisky and soda which we have elevated with a touch of peach and black tea, giving it a fine crisp finish. In short, it’s perfect for warming the soul.

Pure Heavenly Chocolate

We included a pick and mix of each of Pure Heavenly’s chocolate bars and we are obsessed. Their mission is to continue to create tasty vegan treats that offer an enjoyable solution for everyone which they have definitely done! All of their products are vegan friendly as well as gluten and GMO free. They also don’t contain palm oil and, get this, have less than 1% sugar per bar!

Boundless Sour Cream & Onion Chips

Boundless are on a mission to get the nation gut happy! Their snacks are always 100% activated, full of fibre & packed with nutrients to keep your gut & tastebuds happy. Their sour cream & onion chips are filled with mouth-wateringly good flavours, we couldn’t help but try some! Will you be sharing, or will this be for me, myself and I?
