London Cocktail Week is back for its 13th edition, and we couldn’t be more excited!
Listed as one of the top 20 most defining moments of the London bar scene by Cocktail Credentials, this joyful celebration of the cocktail is not to be missed.
This year the event is spread across the capital with pop-up bars across the city.
Once again stretching the concept of a week, the festival runs from 13th October to 23rd October.
If you’re a cocktail lover, here’s why you need to buy a wristband right now.
London Cocktail Week £7 Cocktails
A £15 wristband will allow you to enjoy £7 cocktails for the entire run of the festival.
This year over 300 bars are taking part.
This is your chance to enjoy drinks at some of London’s best cocktail bars including Tāyer+Elementary, Artesian at The Langham, and Blue Bar at Berkeley.
Celebrate London Cocktail Week at Home
Before we dive in, it’s worth noting that (shock horror) not everyone lives in London.
Don’t worry though, as there are other events across the country like Edinburgh Cocktail Week.
Even better you can easily get involved with the UK’s largest cocktail festival by mixing up some tasty drinks at home.
Little Cocktail Villages
In previous years the heart of London Cocktail Week has been a massive cocktail village situated in East London.
This year the organisers have split up the fun across the city, with four mini cocktail villages spaced out across London.
Right next to the famous Borough Market, tequila brand Herradura are showcasing the “Extraordinary World” a sensory tunnel of sound, scent and colour.
Bask in the atmosphere of Latino music, magicians and masterclasses and don’t forget to stop at The House of Classic Cocktails for some classic serves including Margaritas, Martinis and Daiquiris.
Situated next to possibly the world’s best shopping arcade, the Covent Garden village will see the launch of a new tequila by brand Rooster Rojo and the famous Stoli vodka Fire Truck.
Rum brand Five Rivers will be slinging their famous Indian-inspired cocktails and snacks from a pop-up Diwali bar.
Situated in historic Belgravia, guests will find the El Bandarra Granny Spritz Bar and a pop-up from famous tequila bar Hacha where you can take a trip through a hall of mirrors in search of the best tequila for their famous Mirror Margarita.
World’s Most Rubbish Bar
Returning for a 2nd year, you have to try this absolutely rubbish experience.
By rubbish, we mean super innovative with bartenders serving sustainable cocktails crafted from material which would otherwise have been wasted.
The team at Discarded Spirits are also running masterclasses to teach you how to make your home cocktail serves more sustainable.
When is a rubbish experience not a rubbish experience?
Fords Gin Martinis and Oysters
13th October – Free Entry
Fords is one of the best examples of a London Dry gin, so we were thrilled to see this event at TRIBE in Canary Wharf on the London Cocktail Week list.
Enjoy an evening of chilled martinis which come with a round of fresh oysters from London’s famous Billingsgate Market.
Patron Taco Tuesdays
18th October – Free Entry
Tequila and Mexican food understandably pair well together, so head to Satan’s Whiskers for an evening with Tequila Patron.
Learn about the art of rewilding with whisky brand Ardbeg with a one-off foraging experience.
Probably best to bring wellies. It is October after all.
