Food pairings, a cactus carving class, and of course a ton of delicious cocktails. Here are the best places to eat, drink, and celebrate London Cocktail Week 2021

Launched back in 2010 by Siobhan Payne and Hannah Sharman-Cox, London Cocktail Week is the largest city-wide celebration of cocktails worldwide.

Listed as one of the top 20 most defining moments of the London bar scene by Cocktail Credentials, this joyful celebration of the cocktail is not to be missed.

Originally spanning a week, this year the events are extended to the entire month of October 2021.

Here are our picks of the best places to eat, drink, and explore.

 

London Cocktail Week 2021 £7 Cocktails

A £15 wristband will allow you to enjoy £7 cocktails for the entire month of October.

250 venues are taking part, including some of the best cocktail bars in London such as Tāyer+Elementary, Artesian at The Langham, and Blue Bar at Berkeley.

In 2021, London Cocktail Week is partnering with Covent Garden to create a cocktail hub for the festival.

With the main aim of encouraging people to re-discover the West End, guests to Covent Garden will also be able to enjoy world class shopping, immersive art installations, and best of global and independent dining and drinking.

London Cocktail Week at Home

Cocktails from The Drinks Drop at London Cocktail Week 2021

If you’re not based in London, or want to enjoy London Cocktail Week at home, there are lots of ways to get involved, from virtual events or £7 cocktails delivered to your door by London Cocktail Week official partner The Drinks Drop.

Alternatively you could try a bottled cocktail or cocktail kit from The Cocktail Society Shop.

Silent Pool are running virtual masterclasses on 12th, 21st and 28th October. Guests will learn to make two cocktails in the 30-minute cocktail class, and learn about the history of Silent Pool Rare Citrus Gin.

World’s Most Rubbish Bar

When is a rubbish experience not a rubbish experience?

When it’s a unique experiential drinking pop-up by Zero-waste spirit brand Discarded Spirits Co.

Customers will drink sustainable cocktails crafted out of “waste” materials by some of the world’s best bartenders.

Ingredients include Discarded Grape Skin Vodka, Discarded Banana Peel Rum, and Discarded Sweet Cascara Vermouth.

Sustainability and zero waste drinks is a big trend in the cocktail industry, so this is a chance to try some delicious cocktails using methods which may soon become the norm.

Drinks brand Bacardi is inviting food and cocktail lovers on a culinary journey across the capital, with a series of food and cocktail pairings in different areas of London.

Enjoy experiences from Patron Tequila, Grey Goose Vodka, and more.

You could try Taco Tuesdays at Satan’s Whiskers, or a Botanicals masterclass at The Hoxton.

Salon Courvoisier

A jazz band plays on stage whilst people sit at tables drinking at Salon Courvoisier at London Cocktail Week

Cocktail bars Nightjar and Oriole are joining forces with Cognac brand Courvoisier to bring you Salon Courvoisier. Both venues will serve craft cocktails paired with delicious food whilst listening to vibrant live jazz music.

If you’re looking for an additional experience you can book a tableside exploration class which delves into the world of Cognac, aroma, and cocktails, or a guided tour through award-winning Courvoisier cognacs.

Remy Cointreau Classic Cocktail Trail at London Cocktail Week

Get out and about and explore some of the world’s most popular cocktails across this historic area of London.

Start with Passoa and a Pornstar Martini, check out the view from Vinegar Yard’s roof terrace, then celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the Sidecar cocktail with Remy Martin 1738 at The Last Talisman.

They’re partnering with PRICK, London’s first cacti boutique to create a unique event for cocktail lovers.

Enjoy bourbon cocktails and a cactus grafting activity (we had to google it too) and create your own unique cactus to take home.

Here’s hoping London Cocktail Week 2021 is a fresh start to London’s hospitality scene, which has had a tricky time of it during the pandemic.

With that in mind Moët & Chandon Champagne are making things extra special with a “Make It Royale” option to certain cocktails across the city.

Wristband wearers can upgrade their £7 cocktail to a £10 mix made with Moët & Chandon at bars including Mr. Foggs, and Callooh Callay.

On 10th October Callooh Callay host bar legend Alessandro Palazzi to enjoy his twists on Moët & Chandon cocktails.
