The Espresso Martiki is straight from one of Australia’s best bars, Maybe Sammy.
The cocktail is a unique, and super tasty twist on the classic and is one of the cocktails that despite the interesting pairings (pineapple juice and espresso) is a huge hit.
How to make the Espresso Martiki Recipe
Ingredients
40ml Dark Rum (we recommend either Plantation Pineapple or Bacardi 8 year old)
20ml Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
30ml Fresh Pineapple Juice
15ml Orgeat syrup
30ml Espresso
Method
Add all ingredients to a shaker.
Fill with ice, then shake rigorously for 15-20 seconds.
Strain the mix into a martini glass. If you have a fine strainer then double strain to remove all tiny ice particles from the cocktail.
Expert Tip
Shake Espresso Martinis hard and always use the best coffee you can get your hands on – it will make a massive difference to the cocktail.
